I am a senior lecturer in the Division of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering. My research focuses on robotics NDT and control system design. I spent 7 years as an Assistant and Associate professor at the Beijing Institute of Technologies after receiving my PhD from Beihang University. I joined LSBU in 1999.

I joined LSBU from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 1999 where I was an associate professor in Mechtronics. I am now a senior lecturer of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and member of Cognitive Systems Research Centre.

My main research interests are robotics NDT, industrial system control, robot operating systems and computer networks. I have taken part in a few European funded robotic NDT projects regarding nuclear power station inspections, oil tank inspections and aeroplane inspections. I am currently working in a KTP project of designing the control systems for industrial thermal printers.
