I joined LSBU in 2016, where I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Children's Nursing. I am a children's nurse with a background in Paediatric Intensive Care and Paediatric Research.

My main research interests are pain assessment and management in intensive care and respiratory therapies. I have been the lead for pain, sedation and Drug withdrawal for the nurse science group for both the UK and European intensive care societies. I have presented at numerous national and international conferences.

Currently, I am studying for my PhD at Plymouth University evaluating a mode of ventilation in infants with Bronchiolitis. This is a mixed methods feasibility study.
