My research focuses on cooperation, communication and decision-making processes of individuals, groups and organisations and their broader societal and cultural context. I am interested in how digital media, differences in cultural background and levels of expertise, biases, social norms, social identities and self-concept aspects relate to these processes and how they impact on work collaborations, decision making, trust, performance and wellbeing at work.

My background is in social psychology and computer science and I apply my research broadly to the workplace and work behaviours.

For a full overview, visit the Moser Lab: www.karinmoser.net

I often work interdisciplinary and in close collaboration with academic, industry and public sector partners across the globe. I am trained in and employ a wide range of research methods, including experimental studies (mostly web-based these days), surveys, interviews, workplace interventions and simulations.

My background is in Social Psychology (PhD, MSc), with additional qualifications in Computer Science (MSc) and Social Anthropology (MSc) and I hold both, a Swiss Baccalaureate and a USA High School Diploma. I apply my research broadly to the workplace and work behaviours, to the fields of organisational behaviour and organisational/business psychology. I am trained in and employ a wide range of research methods, including experimental studies (mostly web-based these days), surveys, interviews, workplace interventions and simulations.

I am currently Professor of Organisational Behaviour at London South Bank University (UK), where I am Director of the London Centre for Business and Entrepreneurship Research and leading the Digital Economy Research Group, as well as Honorary Professor of Social and Organisational Psychology at the University of Queensland (Australia). I am also a member of the Research Centre on AI Technology for Humankind (AiTH) at NUS Business School, National University of Singapore, and affiliated with the Centre for Career Development and University Continuing Education, University of Bern (Switzerland).

Before I became an Academic, I enjoyed training and performing Modern Dance, and I also worked in the private sector in various positions. This also shaped my interest in applied research that supports practitioners, executives and organisations and characterises my research today.
