I am a Senior Lecturer in Management and Lead for International Collaborations.

I joined LSBU in 2013 while doing my PhD and working for a management consultancy. I combine my academic expertise with experiences in management consultancy in cross-cultural management, HR and leadership practices. I studied International Relations at the National University of Mongolia and completed an MBA at the University of Gloucestershire, followed by a PhD in Management from the University of Essex. My Doctoral research has focussed on the management practices of Mongolia and was published as a book chapter with Edward Elgar Publishing in 2018.

I am a Qualitative Researcher specialising in developing theoretical and practical approaches to improving working relationships (managerial roles, employee voice, uncertainty, gender inequality) for managers by examining the impacts of macro (socio-cultural, institutional and political changes), meso (organisational culture, uncertainty and networking) and micro (generational differences, gender and lived experiences).

Empirically, I study these topics in Mongolia, an emerging transition economy with nomadic culture in a variety of organisational settings (e.g., public, SMEs and MNEs) and across different types of workers (traditional, temporary, and expatriates).

I have published my work in peer-reviewed journals in the HRM field and produced book chapters in the books examining management practices in transitional peripheries. My research has been presented at international conferences in my field, including the British Academy of Management (BAM) and the Work Employment and Society (WES).

I collaborate with colleagues from reputable universities and co-write and share my research through academic seminars at the University of Cambridge, the University of Bonn and the University of Essex.

I am a Fellow of the Advance HE, formerly known as the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), an Academic Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and an academic Member of Society into Higher Education Research (SRHE).

I am also a member of the Voice Research Group (a group of academic researchers who have a common interest in all issues surrounding voice in the workplace) and the CYGNA (supporting women in academia network).

My external management research and enterprise activities include facilitating training and workshops for investors and business executives in collaboration with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, UK-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce, Invest Mongolia Summit and Help To Grow Programme in London, Ulaanbaatar and Hong Kong.

I am an official Representative of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the United Kingdom, a Board Member of the Mongolian Business Trade Council in the UK, and actively engage with high-profile business meetings focusing on foreign investment, international collaboration, knowledge and skill exchange opportunities for businesses in Mongolia and Europe. I am a member of Tsahim Urtuu NGO- a non-profit and non-political organisation, which promotes Mongolian-related scholarly activities and research. Additionally, I work as an Independent Consultant for cultural awareness in business negotiations and managing human resources for companies which operate in Mongolia or are considering doing so in the future.
