I am an experienced lecturer in construction law and a Barrister.

Before joining LSBU, in January 2013, I practiced as a lawyer in Guernsey, Channel Islands, both before and following my Call to the Bar, in July 2008 by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn.

I have been a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since October 2015 and currently peer review applications for Fellowship. I have also been a member of the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn since January 2006 and am a former member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

As an early career researcher, I am interested in equality, diversity and inclusion in the construction industry and most particularly Women in Construction and increasing female participation in the industry in professional roles and at senior levels.

I am currently co-authoring the latest edition of Law and the Built Environment, for Wiley-Blackwell

I am also interested in co-writing papers where my legal expertise will be a useful addition.
