I am an Associate Professor of Film in The School of Arts and Creative Industries (ACI). The University recruited me to develop its Film courses, which are now the largest in the School. After 5 years as Head of Division of Film I've taken on the role of Director of International. I teach at several international film schools, and before joining the university sector I worked extensively in film and video production in both the commercial and third sectors.

My work as International Lead involves developing global staff and student collaborations and new University partnerships. My research interests are focused on film music and audio and visual specularity and immersion in film practice and installation
