I am a senior lecturer and the Deputy Head of Chemical and Energy Engineering Division. I completed a degree in Chemistry, Master degrees in Chemical Engineering and Drilling Engineering and a PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering. I joined LSBU in 2011 with a progressive career as academic and researcher.

I have performed in different roles at LSBU and have grown my knowledge and experience in teaching and learning, research, professional practice and administration, management, leadership and citizenship. I also worked in the Oil and Gas industry for 11 years in subsurface technologies for well construction.

I am passionate about research-based learning, teaching and learning and the use of digital technology.

My research interests are in the porous media flow and testing, study of flow dynamic and physical-chemical interactions. I have experience in CEOR with carbon dioxide and low carbon subsurface enhanced geothermal systems. I have research projects in collaboration with civil engineering aimed to develop sustainable construction materials using green processes.

As External Activities I contribute as:

Peer reviewer (SPE and for HEA fellowship applications at LSBU).

Accreditation and Approvals Panel member for the Energy Institute (from 2021),

Society of Petroleum Engineering SPE Student Chapters Liaison (2019-2021).

Society of Petroleum Engineering SPE Mentor.
