I am a Professional Doctor of Education and Social Justice and Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Health and Social Care at London South Bank University. I lead and teach pre and post-nursing registration courses.

I have special interest in social justice and inclusive education research. I have designed a framework on Awareness for Social Justice Action to develop critical learners for social justice knowledge, awareness, action, and partnership. I am Link Lecturer for LSBU students who practice at the Guys and St. Thomas NHS Trust, and the Royal Brompton Hospitals, in London.

I have clinical background in adult medical oncology and prostate care, with publications on novel and minimally invasive interventions for prostate cancer and the management of chronic pelvic pain syndrome or prostatitis.

I have academic interest in social justice and inclusive education. My publication on "Let us be unequivocal about social justice in nursing" is the first on promoting explicit conversation about social justice in nursing education in the United Kingdom.

My framework on Awareness for Social Justice Action or ASJA proposes progressive approaches for empowering nursing and other students to develop knowledge, awareness, action, and partnership for social justice to improve human conditions.
