I joined London South Bank University in 2005 as a Senior Lecturer within the Institute of Health & Social Care. I specialised in critical care nursing and held various clinical, managerial and educational posts within the specialty. My Current role is leading the critical care course at both BSc and MSc levels. I also lead the MSc dissertation module.
I have a Doctorate in nursing from London South Bank University and a Master’s degree in critical care from King’s College London. My research interests are in critical care and practice-based assessment of competence where I published research in international Journals
