I am a doctoral researcher in the School of Health and Social Care. I am also a registered mental health nurse and have continued to work in the NHS throughout my doctoral research project.

My interest in improving dementia care has developed over a decade working with older people living with dementia in their own homes, in care homes and in acute hospitals.

My doctoral research uses case study methodology to explore person-centred hydration care when older people living with dementia are admitted to acute hospital wards.
