I am a senior lecturer in building services engineering and I teach subjects relating to mathematics, heating and ventilation systems, mechanical/electrical/public health services in buildings and passive building design. I use building energy modelling software like IESVE extensively both in my teaching and research activities.

My research interests span around using control theories and optimisation techniques for design and control of passive and active systems in buildings. This includes developing fuzzy logic control systems for ventilation designs in buildings, optimisation of passive buildings for different applications and climates. I am always keen on developing innovative design ideas into engineering systems.
