Academic staff

I'm a senior lecturer in Architecture. I have been teaching in higher education since 2009 and received my Senior Fellowship at Advance HE in 2021. (Fellowship in 2015)

I have been working at LSBU since 2017 and served as both Msc and BA(Hons) course director roles until 2020.

Since 2021, I have been focusing on my research activities in the field of architecture and finance.

I have completed my first graduate degree at the Architectural Association, London after studying Architecture and Environmental Design in Turkey. Since 2021, I have been studying my PHD in Architecture at LSBU and also finishing a second postgraduate degree (MSc) in the field of Real Estate Investment & Finance at Henley Business School.

Before my academic career, I have worked at Foster + Partners, London from 2007 to 2009, specializing in developing advanced prototyping and manufacturing solutions on various architectural projects. Since then, I have also worked across a wide range of design disciplines, developing many consumer products from furniture to various architectural commissions and my research interest initially has been in the field of advanced manufacturing technologies.

My current research studies and interests exploring computational and quantitative tools in architecture and finance, specifically focusing on emerging fields on commercial real estate organisations and trusts.
