I joined LSBU in 2017, where I have been Associate Professor in Diagnostic Radiography, Head of Department for Allied Health Sciences and most recently as Dean of the School of Allied and Community Health. I originally studied Diagnostic Radiography in Cambridge and then completed my MSc in Strategic Workforce Development at Middlesex University. I started my Professional Doctorate at LSBU in 2018.

My main research interests are the development of professional learning and how social media is understood from a students' perspective. We have seen an exponential rise in the personal and professional use of social media but it is not well understood how it can or should be used within a professional curriculum. There is potentially a growing divide between the upcoming generations of students (generation Z and beyond) and their faculty in using social media to its best potential, whilst avoiding the pitfalls.

Quality Improvement methods and their practical implementation are integral to my thinking and I have worked on national quality improvement projects including RePAIR and a Delphi study on the AHP digital framework.
