I am a Lecturer in Psychology in the School of Applied Sciences. I graduated with a PhD in psychology at the University of East London. My PhD explored the theory of nicotine titration, compensatory behaviours and e-cigarettes use. I currently teach Research Methods for psychological research, courses on Addictive Behaviours, Psychopharmacology and Mental Health.

The focus of my work centre around tobacco smoking cessation, the use of e-cigarettes, smoking patterns and behaviours, and exploring better ways to communicate public health messages around nicotine and EC relative harm and risk.

I am currently reviewing for the following journals:

 Addiction Journal

 Nicotine & Tobacco Research Oxford University Press

 Scientific Reports

 Psychopharmacology

 Society for the Research on Nicotine and Tobacco Research (SRNT) Annual meeting

 Inhalation Toxicology Journal

 Addictive Behaviors Journal
