I am an Associate Professor of Strategic IT in Construction at London South Bank University. His expertise lies in: Building Information Modelling (BIM); Construction Data Analytics; Blockchain development; Smart Buildings; Internet of Things (IoT) in buildings; Serious Game development (with VR and AR) for the construction industry; as well as Computational modelling and simulation of buildings. I am skilled & familiar with the following programming languages and tools: Microsoft's ASP.Net and C#; Java; Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, seaborn, etc.); Node-Red; JavaScript & NodeJS; as well as MongoDB and SQL databases.

I am a Unity3d Certified Game Developer and a member of the British Computer Society (BCS) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). I am also a Chartered Building Engineer and a fellow of Chartered Association of Building Engineers (FCABE); in addition to being a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Teaching: directly responsible for developing and teaching BIM and Design Management modules including: Collaborative Design Management, BIM Auditing and Coordination and Collaborative BIM Design Project (for BSc programmes); as well as Concept Design with BIM (for MSc Building Services); Federated Building Information Modelling (for MSc Construction Management); Design Management by Product & Process Modelling (for MEng Civil Engineering). I also oversaw the implementation of 3D/4D/5D BIM in all modules within the taught programmes.

Research, Enterprise and Consultancy: I was a member of the School's Digital Design & Information Management (DD&IM) research group; supervising 5 PhD students; Co-I for and BIM Lead for CIBSE accredited CPD training via the Building and Industrial Services Pipework Academy (BISPA) co-sponsored by Tata Steel; Leading the BRE-sponsored virtual reality game development for construction hazard perception and response; Co-I and BIM Lead for BIM-Hub, a role-playing and real-time collaborative BIM learning module for virtual working involving final year students of three universities in UK and Canada.

Carrying out computational modelling and simulation for the design of ventilation and energy efficient hospital wards, using dynamic thermal simulation and computation fluid dynamics (CFD), including writing scripts in PHOENICS for automating CFD tasks.
