I am currently the Clinic Director for the Student Chiropractic Clinic located at the Croydon Campus. Prior to that I was the education consult involved in designing the Integrated Masters in Chiropractic and then was the Course Director and Professional Lead for the chiropractic program. I am GCC registered and have over 35 years of clinical experience in four countries in solo and group practice. I was previously the director of medicine at Atlantic Hematology/Oncology Group in New Jersey, USA and was a member of the Bacharach Rehabilitation Hospital Chronic Pain department.
My current research interests include chiropractic education emphasising the international aspects, medical sociology examining the integration of CAM therapies into or in addition to biomedicine, and the relationship between fascia and function/pain.
Currently, developing a project with Keiser University Chiropractic Degree program West Palm Beach, Florida, on the potential for a shared international education using live and internet lectures.
I am a member of the Royal College of Chiropractors and have presented on various topics including Headaches: from the Common to the Obscure; Tai Chi Chuan for Rehabilitation and Research Updates in acupuncture.
Additionally, I am a member of the International Society for the Study of Traditional Asian Medicine where I presented at several meeting including session leader in Kiel, Germany and keynote speaker at the 2019 meeting in Puna, India.
I am on the accreditation committee for the Council for Chiropractic Education reviewing chiropractic programs for continued accreditation.
