I joined LSBU is 2019 where I am a Senior Lecturer and Head of Division for Social Work and Public Health. I originally studied a BA in Political Science and Gender Studies and then a Social Work degree. My professional experience includes Social Work practice with adults in a variety of settings. Following over a decade in practice and management roles I completed a Doctorate at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust. My doctoral research focused on social work practice in adult social care in a policy context of personalisation. I am also a British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) registered Psychotherapist.
My subject specialisms and research interests include psychodynamic theory and practice, social policy, participatory and psychosocial research and social work practice with adults.
