I am a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, School of Applied Sciences at LSBU. I currently teach on the Psychological Research Methods, Psychology of Attention, Learning and Memory and Psychology of Performing Arts modules at BSc level. At MSc level, I teach on the Psychological Research Methods and Perception, Attention and Memory modules, and lead the Social Behaviour module.

My research interests lie in health psychology and judgment and decision making, with a particular focus on how affect/emotions influence psychological decision-making processes. My PhD concerned maladaptive eating behaviours and explored the role of affect/emotions in sweet-food choice. More recently, my interests have expanded to include the application of understanding around Gut Health in the context of dietary decision making. I am also working on a collaboration project that will assess the impact of an intergenerational music making program on mental health and wellbeing.
