I work at LSBU within the School of Law and Social Sciences.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and worked in corporate social responsibility and pro bono management within the legal sector for 12 years before moving into academia.

I hold a BA Hons in Politics & Sociology from the University of Warwick. I completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law (now University of Law), and hold a LLM in International Economic Law, Justice and Development from Birkbeck.

I am currently working towards a Professional Doctorate in Education.

I am particularly interested in legal education, access to justice and pro bono legal services.

I am a link tutor for the British University in Egypt.

I am a trustee of LawWorks, formerly known as the Solicitors Pro Bono Group.
