I am a PhD Psychology student and hourly paid lecturer at the School of Applied Sciences. I joined LSBU in 2018 to study BSc Psychological Counselling and then transferred to MSc Psychology. I arrived in the UK from Ukraine, where I have previously worked as a fitness coach and studied Translation.
I am passionate about Organisational Psychology. With a rapid change in the nature of work (e.g., growth of hybrid work), modern solutions are needed to keep employees satisfied and organisations successful.
I have been awarded an LSBU International Merit scholarship (£4000) and received an LSBU Postgraduate Travel Grant (£1000).
While most employees enjoy the benefits of teleworking, 25% of workers wish to go back to the office full-time. Therefore, there is a potential conflict between the teleworkers who want to discontinue teleworking and employers who plan to increase teleworking prevalence. My mixed-methods project explores the reasons behind the desire to go back to the office full-time. The findings will provide practitioners with knowledge on how to help those who want to discontinue teleworking (but are unable to do so) become more satisfied with their arrangement.
