I joined LSBU in 2021 as a Lecturer and took up the role of Practice Placement Lead in Physiotherapy in September 2021.

My background is that I am a Musculoskeletal specialist physiotherapist with two MSc degrees. I completed my last super-specialist training in early 2019, but have substantial experience working as a Consultant as well as a Clinical academic across healthcare systems within the UK and my home country India.

Alongside my clinician side, I am a keen researcher whose interests expand from assessment and intervention strategies for musculoskeletal disorders, chronic pain, and professional practice among healthcare professionals to community health and related areas.

At LSBU, my research activities encompass being a member of the Systematic Review Board panel and Research Ethics panel, engaging in the supervision of MSc dissertations and delivering on / leading modules for research methods and critiquing of literature.

My external research commitments include being actively involved in collaborative projects across different HEI and NHS partners.
