I joined LSBU part time in September 2021 to begin my career in academia. My current role at LSBU is a lecturer in diagnostic radiography, teaching undergrad trainee radiographers. I also help with post grad radiographer courses, teaching radiographer reporting in MSK and chest.
I have been working in the NHS since 2010, spending most of my career at Kings College Hospital, a major trauma centre in South London. I still work part time for Kings College Hospital, continuing my practice as a reporting radiographer, specialising in interpreting musculoskeletal and chest imaging.
My main external activity consists of my practice as a reporting radiographer for King's College Hospital, writing reports for musculoskeletal and chest radiographs. I have also engaged with Health Education England to provide teaching and image review sessions for trainee reporting radiographers.
I recently completed a small research project into the public health role of radiographers, and I will be looking to expand this project, hopefully in the near future to include the views of more radiographers.
