I joined LSBU in 2022, combining academic research with my clinical experience. I am a Senior Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice (Child) and Physiotherapy in the School of Allied and Community Health.

I completed my MSc in Physiotherapy at Medical University of Silesia (Poland), followed by postgraduate certificates in Gait Analysis and Academic Practice. In my clinical work as a Paediatric Physiotherapists my specialism lies within the areas of neuro-orthopaedics and spasticity management. I love working with and for children and young people and had the opportunity to practice internationally.

I was also able to carry this passion into my research activity - paediatric gait in neurodisability, gait analysis and its role in clinical decision-making became a centre of my PhD (Queen Mary University of London). My research is also strongly rooted in clinical education, knowledge transfers and communities of learning and practice in paediatric therapies.

I am a Vice Chair of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists in the UK where I am able to support paediatric specialism nationally. Further to this, I work with international charities focusing on delivering treatment to children and clinical education in areas of paediatrics.
