I lead Students' Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at LSBU, Business School. I hold a PhD in Innovation and Strategy from the Royal Holloway University of London and an MBA and a Master in Human Rights and Democratisation from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies University of London.

Before joining South Bank University in 2022, I held academic appointments at De Montfort University, Royal Holloway and Queen Mary University of London, and the University of Montpellier in France. I am an expert teacher and was awarded a distinction by the UK Higher Education Academy - Advance HE for my fellowship.

My research interests lie in the broad areas of strategic management, innovation, and entrepreneurship. My research has appeared in internationally recognized conferences such as the Wharton Science Conference, the Strategic Management Society, the European Academy of Management, the British Academic of Management, the International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility and Organisational Governance Conference, and the Research Policy Special Issues on Innovation Ecosystems and Ecosystem Innovation Conference. My research was recognized with the Best Paper Award at the British Academic of Management Conference in 2017.

I currently serve on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Technological Sustainability Journal. I regularly review papers for several journals, including the Journal of Management and Organisation and the R and D Management Journal. I have also chaired panel and presentation sessions at the Social Responsibility Research Network (SRRNet) Conferences and the British and European Academy of Management Conferences.

I currently supervise two PhD students and welcome PhD applications from those interested in the broad areas of strategic management (inter-organizational knowledge and technology transfer, licensing, alliances, mergers and acquisitions, business ecosystems and networks, complexity and organizational learning and strategy in practice), innovation (business model innovation, barriers to technology adoption, and technology strategies of high-tech firms and start-ups) and entrepreneurship (underdogs and budding entrepreneurs).

Besides my academic interests, I am also a practitioner and have been involved in several technological ventures. I advise several semiconductors, fintech, AI, and blockchain start-ups and am interested in collaborating with young entrepreneurs in these spaces.
