I joined LSBU in 2022, where I am Lecturer in Adult Nursing Department of School of Health and Social Care. I did my BSc (Hons)Nursing and MSc Cardiology and CTVS Nursing (Medical Surgical nursing ) at ALL India Institute Of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

My particular research interest are care and management of patients with cardiac diseases. During my clinical experience in India I could do two research studies - Stress and coping in parents of children with cyanotic congenital heart disease which I did as a dissertation requirement for my masters degree and published in the International Journal of Nursing Education and Research. Similarly, I got a research grant to work on patients with Myocardial Infarction to find out the role of Vitamin D in myocardial infarction patients, from rural and urban areas. Unfortunately, I couldn't complete that project because Covid affected the population and we couldn't change the inclusion criteria. I am always motivated to be part of a good research team.
