I joined LSBU in 2009 as a Senior Research Fellow carrying out research in refrigeration. I originally worked at the Food Refrigeration and Process Engineering Research Centre (FRPERC) at the University of Bristol.

I am also a co-founder and Director in a company carrying out testing and consultancy in the area of refrigeration (Refrigerated Developments and testing Ltd).

I have specific interest and expertise related to supermarket refrigeration and more generally refrigeration in the cold chain.

I am Co-chair of sub-commission International Institute of Refrigeration – Section D1 Refrigerated storage, Refrigerated Display cabinets.
