Coming from a Fine Art background, I began making poetic documentaries for Channel 4, the British Film Institute and the Arts Council of England. Moving into drama, I have made short films for Film4, Creative England and the British Film Institute. Recently my feature film, THIRST was shortlisted for Sundance Screenwriters Lab and was one of eighteen international projects selected for Cannes Frontieres Co-Production Market with Fantasia International Film Festival. I was selected for Filmonomics 6, Screenskills and BFI Network career development programme.

THIS CHARMING MAN was selected by BFI for their 100 British Films reflecting ‘Britishness.’
Moving into drama, and short films:
DISH, commissioned by Film4 and The Film Council was selected by the British Council and screened to acclaim at International Film Festivals and continues to be transmitted on Channel 4 and Film4
LAP, commissioned by Screen Yorkshire, was selected by the British Council and shown in competition at International Film Festivals around the world
Selected for Creative England’s emerging talent scheme, my short film TRiGGA, commissioned by Creative England’s and BFI Network I-Shorts scheme had its World Premiere at TIFF Kids and was selected to screen at BAFTA qualifying festivals, Aesthetica Short Film Festival and London Short Film Festival. Screening at over 40 international film festivals with Grand Prize for Live Action at Oscar Qualifying Rhodes Island International Film Festival. It was selected to screen on Omeleto, the award-winning short film streaming platfrom and film charity IntoFilm TV streaming service in schools nationwide in the UK.
My feature film SHY BIRD was one of twelve projects selected for Creative England, BFI and BBC Films I-Features scheme.

UK-based female-focused film organisation Birds’ Eye View has revealed the 18 first-time filmmakers selected for this year’s Filmonomics business training programme aimed at feature writers, directors and producers of marginalised genders who are either on the verge of making their first feature, or have just made or released their debut.
