I am Course Director and Lecturer in Criminology, within the Division of Social Sciences.

I joined LSBU in 2018 having previously been a probation officer for many years, which included specialising in youth justice and working with women.

My main research interests are trauma-informed probation practice, women in the justice system, youth justice and decolonising the curriculum within criminology.

My current research projects focus on women and trauma in the justice system, and decolonising the criminology curriculum at LSBU.

I am a trustee for the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies and a professional associate member of Napo, the probation and family court union and professional association.
