I am an Associate Professor and the Head of Division for Adult Nursing in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at LSBU. I graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2009. Having specialized in Critical Care, I became a Clinical Practice Facilitator at the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust before joining LSBU in 2014. I taught subject specialist modules such as Care of the Deteriorating Patient and Clinical Skills. My last position was Lead for Apprenticeships in Nursing and Midwifery and a member of the Academic Board.
As a link lecturer for St. Mungo’s Charity, I developed an interest in the care of the homeless and have been working on a research project evaluating a pre-registration homeless/rough-sleeping placement for nursing students.
I am an External Examiner for Oxford Brookes University and Leeds Beckett University.
