I am Senior Lecturer in Education, in the School of Law and Social Sciences, the School's Lead for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Co Lead of the Education for Social Justice Research Group.
I joined LSBU in 2015, after completing an MA in Education from London Southbank University, alongside working as a Secondary English and Media Studies Teacher in schools across South London since 2008.
I believe that education has the potential to address social inequality and I entered Higher Education with the desire to further develop and share my knowledge, understanding and application of inclusive education practice and research.
I have conducted research and enterprise activity on a range of inclusive education areas including supporting Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual families in schools, anti-racist education practice, adult education programmes for women furthest from education and diversity in youth music leadership.
