I received a BEng (Hons) in Chemical and Process engineering from London South Bank university, where I am currently a PhD student. My research mainly consists of reaction engineering, with a focus on the application of microreactors for liquid fuel synthesis. My other research interests include energy derived from alternative fuels, plastic waste management, and the pyrolysis of plastics for fuel production.

My current research is focused on the computational modelling of renewable fuel production in microreactors with an emphasis on reaction engineering and process intensification. Microreactors have become well known in recent years for their advantageous properties when compared conventional larger-scale reactor systems to produce fuels. Performing numerical studies using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) software’s is valuable as it provides an understanding of parameter optimisation to produce fuels, such as, bio-oil and hydrogen. The modelling of microreactor systems for fuel production is not well established, contrary to larger scale systems, making the work highly interesting and novel. I have published original research papers investigating the production of bio-oil and hydrogen fuel in microreactors using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) software’s. My further research interests include the pyrolysis of plastics to energy, and process intensification using membrane reactors in which I have published several papers and authored book chapters. I have also presented my research work at leading international conferences related to microreaction engineering and CFD modelling.
