I am involved as a clinical tutor for the Integrated Master of Chiropractic Course at the interns teaching chiropractic clinic in Croydon campus that is part of the Division of Physiotherapy, Sports Rehabilitation and Chiropractic.
I am in private practice and prior to joining LSBU, I was awarded an MSc in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation (with Merit) at St Mary University College London (2011), a BSc in Chiropractic at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth (1997), and a BEd in Physical Education at the Wingate Institute for Sports (1991).
My clinical and research interests include perceptions and the impacts of sports chiropractic care in the management of injury prevention and performance. Particularly, my research topic of interest is chiropractic care for older athletes. I am doing a part-time Professional Doctorate at LSBU investigating “Master Tract and Field Athletes' Perceptions of Chiropractic Care and its Impact on Muscular Capacities.”
I have been a member of the Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC) since its inception (1999) and since 2011 a Specialist Fellow of its Sports Faculty (RCCSF).
The second phase of my research has been registered as a trial at:
