I am currently a PhD Candidate here at London South Bank University but come from a Paediatric Intensive Care Nursing background. I have a special interest in patient and family outcomes. I am visiting fellow at LSBU and teach part time on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Modules franchised by Great Ormond Street Hospital
My PhD project is titled ALPS - Heart Siblings Impact Study. This is a mixed methods project, first collecting interview data from siblings to gain their experiences related to the impact having a brother or sister with congenital heart disease has on siblings. The second phase will use questionnaires to understand the wider impact on siblings but using a specific measure informed by the first phase of the study.
I am a member of the academic inquiring minds (AIM) group within the Centre for Outcomes and Experience Research in Children’s Health Illness and Disability (ORCHID) at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH)
