Academic staff

I am an architect and research fellow at Darlab in the School of the Built Environment and Architecture. I completed all the stages of my architectural education at London South Bank University and currently I am writing my PhD at the Royal College of Art. As an architect I have worked at Conran and Partners, Populous, Aecom, and KSS. I teach digital technologies and parametric design.

My interests include assembly building design, additive manufacturing, and sport. My PhD focuses on the exploration of stadia design principles through the lenses of architectural typology, structural topologies, and machine learning.

My recent research projects include Collaborative Doctoral Award Defining Architectural Typologies Through Structural Topologies and Machine Learning with AKTII Engineering and Royal College of Art funded by London Arts and Humanities Partnership and SCRAM – Sustainable Construction through Robotic Additive Manufacturing with Darlab.

In 2015 I received the award for Excellence in Architectural Design from London South Bank University. My student work has been published in several books.
