I am a Civil Engineer with years of experience in the construction sector. A professional with a MSc focused on Structural Engineering & Construction Management with Sustainability from Kingston University London. I have joined London South Bank University as a doctoral researcher in 2020. I have taught Civil Engineering courses at both bachelors and masters levels.
Prior to joining LSBU, I was based in the Middle East, with experience working with renowned names such as Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Gas, Doha Petroleum, Worley Parsons/Qatar Pearl GTL, DESCON, Habib Rafiq Limited and Al-Khayarin Group of Companies.
At present, I am investigating the use of 3D-printed recycled polymers in structural applications. My research interests include Sustainable construction, Structures, FEA, Materials, and Additive Manufacturing.
I am a member of the LSBU - Digital Architecture and Robotic Lab (DARLAB) that was founded as part of School of Built Environment and Architecture. The areas of research includes Computational design and digital workflow, Development of advanced materials solution, Robotic control & automation solution and Integrated digital design processes.
