I am a Registered Nurse with a background in Neurological Nursing and have worked in both the acute and community setting as a stroke specialist nurse. I have also worked within Trust Education leading programmes to support newly qualified nurses (Preceptorship) and as an Education Manager supporting students during clincal placements.

I joined LSBU in 2021 as a Lecturer in the Adult Nursing Division. I recently became Course Leader for the BSC Adult Nursing programme for the LSBU Essex campus.

I teach subjects to pre-registration students and apprenticeship students. My area of expertise are clinical skills and acute nursing care.

I am involved in writing chapter editorials as co-author around the topic of clinical skills guidance for apprentice nursing associates, I would in future like to increase my research activity to enhance the experiences of student nurses during their clinical placements.
