I am a lecturer in Therapeutic Radiography in the Institute of Health and Social Care. I joined LSBU in 2021 having previously worked at The Royal Surrey County Hospital as a Therapeutic Radiographer. Alongside my role as a treatment radiographer, I worked as a practice educator for the students that attended a placement at our site. My primary role was to support the students and facilitate any learning that was required while on placement.
I completed a BSc degree in radiotherapy at The University of Portsmouth in 2014 before starting my job at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

As a therapeutic radiographer, I was part of a team that were responsible for delivering world class radiotherapy treatment to cancer patients. We are involved with the planning and delivery of each of the individually tailored treatment with the use of high-tech equipment and planning systems. As a treatment radiographer, I was directly involved with the delivery and care of the patients that we treated within our department.
