I am a Registered Nurse having previously worked in general medicine and specialising in Endoscopy. Prior to joining LSBU I was the Undergraduate Education Manager in the Trust Education Team supporting students and staff whilst on clinical placement. I created material and trained staff introducing the Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment (SSSA) within the Trust.

I joined LSBU in 2021 as a Lecturer in the Adult Nursing Division, teaching undergraduate students.

I Lead on the development of the Clinical Education Practitioner Model where the team were finalists in the Student Nursing Times Awards in 2019. The model proved to be successful in the guidance and support for student nurses from induction through to graduation.

I would like to build my research activity in the future to strengthen students experience whilst on placement and further supporting their well-being.
