Academic staff

I began working at LSBU in 2021 and am now a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Accounting and Finance, teaching Foundation and Undergraduate courses.

I am a member of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA). I graduated with First Class in Accounting and Finance from London South Bank University and am currently doing a postgraduate degree in International Business Management.

Prior to entering academia, I worked for BBC Media Action, the BBC's international charity, on various Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) projects for years in accounting, finance, project management, and compliance roles.

I have been involved in other roles since I joined LSBU, such as Graduate Coach and Mentor for Foundation and Undergraduate students providing personal tutoring and pastoral care for over two hundred students and I hold The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 5 Certificate in Effective Coaching & Mentoring.

My research interest is centred around Financial Technologies (Fin-tech) and digitization in finance, looking at the opportunities and advantages and what to expect in the future.
