I am an architect, researcher, and educator with teaching experience at various institutions. I have taught Design and History and Theory at both BA and MArch levels. I have practiced in Italy and the UK, and I co-founded the research project Architecture for Community-Led Sustainability. https://architecturefcls.org

Architecture for Community-Led Sustainability is a three-year research project that includes a series of workshops and events with the local Loughborough Farm. The outcomes have included several events such as exhibitions and academic symposiums, and a small stage designed and built collaboratively by LSBU students and farm volunteers. The project utilizes "live projects" as a format for knowledge exchange between academic and non-academic stakeholders.

This research explores the role of design thinking and architectural tools in developing new pedagogical and participatory processes that bridge ecological thinking and participatory practices.

My broader research interests include:

Ecological thinking and its sociopolitical role in shaping the built environment.

Political analysis of urban typologies and urban development.

Anthropology of the environment and architecture.

Participatory and pedagogical practices in architecture.
