I have joined LSBU in April 2022 as a lecturer at the School of Health and Social Care, Department of Adult Nursing.
I have completed a PGDip in Oncology Nursing in 2009 and I am currently studying to complete my Master in Science - Clinical Skin Integrity and Wound management.
My clinical background is in intensive care, since 2008 and for the last 4 years I have been specializing in tissue viability nursing.
Apart from my academic role I am also clinical as the Lead Tissue Viability Nurse in the private sector in London.
I am involved in the following activities:
- SIPS (surgical interventions to treat severe pressure ulcers)
- National Wound Care Strategy Programme - stakeholder on the surgical wounds branch
- European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel - stakeholder in relation to new European guidelines, to be launched 2024.

- Lead on the service implementation and development
