I am a Professor and Head of Division of Construction, Property and Surveying. Prior to this role, I was the Head of Built Environment at the University of Greenwich. I am fully involved in academic practice, and provide inspirational leadership to develop growth in performance, fostering teaching excellence, outstanding student outcomes, impactful research and knowledge transfer. I have over 25years varied experience in both academia and industrial practice, leading and managing many organisations across many sectors and in different countries to realise significant and sustainable delivery success. I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Construction Manager, and Chartered Project Manager.

I have many high-quality publications and have led and managed the organisation of academic conferences, seminars and also as an Editor of conference proceedings. I am currently a reviewer for notable journals and a member of two international research associations. I direct PhD studies and have successfully directed, supervised, and examined many PhD students. I am open to any PhD supervision, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) and consultancies and research activities. I also undertake professional training/mentoring in Quantity Surveying, Construction, and Management related subjects.
