I joined LSBU in 2023 having more than 9 years of international working experience in higher education and research. I previously worked at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Malaysia and before working at Iqra University, Pakistan. I originally earned a PhD from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Malaysia, in 2013. I prefer to teach marketing and research courses i.e. Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Digital Marketing, Research Methodology, Marketing Research etc.

My main research interests are social media marketing, integration of industry 4.0 tools into marketing and supply chain and SMEs. In last few years, I published several papers in FT50 and CABS3*, i.e. Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Annals of Operations Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, and International Journal of Information Management.

I completed 12 research grants as leader and co-investigator and am currently involved in several as well. I have also shaped and produced three PhDs and a multitude of Master level graduates. I am also involved in business consultancies in Pakistan and Malaysia. I have an intellectual property copyright of learning technique titled ‘Student as Manager Model (Three-Pronged Teaching Approach)’ under my name with other team members.
