Academic staff

I lecture on process control, process safety and process design. I have an industrial background, having worked for many years with various engineering companies on the design of chemical plants and oil and gas facilities. I also have a track record in academic research and publications. My main expertise is in the area thermodynamics, process control and process simulation.

I now take a keen interest in promoting the teaching of process safety, process control and their full integration within process design activities.

My research focusses on modelling and simulation of chemical and physical processes.
