I joined LSBU in 2011 and I'm an Associate Professor in the School of Applied Sciences. Previously I worked as a researcher in Sport Psychology at Royal Holloway University of London, the German Sport University, and the VU University Amsterdam.

I am passionate about studying how the environment invites and guides certain behaviours and actions. I apply this to understanding exercise engagement in different populations but also to the use of constraints to train visual perception in sportspeople.

My recent research projects include:

- Visual training in basketball shooting

- Multitasking

- Perceptual-motor recalibration

- Adherence to physical activity

I'm the General Secretary for the European Federation of Sport Psychology and a member of the British Association for Sport and Exercise Sciences' Public Advisory Board.
