I am a part-time PhD student in the department of Psychology in the School of Applied Sciences. I am also an alumni student of LSBU having completed my Masters in Business Administration.

I am also employed by London South Bank University as the Research Degrees Programme Manager and the London Doctoral Academy Lead.

I am a passionate motorcyclist, enjoying both solo riding and also being part of the motorcycle culture and community. My doctoral research is looking at how belonging to a motorcycle club/group affects risk perception when riding. I am expecting my research to contribute to social identity theory and to aid in the development of policy and training for motorcyclists.

My previous research at Masters level was related to online Communities of Practice; many of my findings are still valid today.
