I joined LSBU in 2017, where I am a Lecturer in Human Sciences in the School of Applied Sciences. I originally studied Immunology at Kings College London, completing my PGCE and MTcg at UCL Institute of Education. Throughout my career, I have held a variety of teaching positions in different capacities. From teaching and leading the science department at Morpeth School, an 11-18 institution, to being an associate tutor on an MTcg at UCL Institute of Education.
My main interests are in education. Teaching is a research-based profession. It is through mindfully placing practice in academic research that imparting knowledge becomes more effective for the learner and satisfying for the educator. I am passionate about teaching and believe bringing research and teaching together greatly enriches the learning experience and quality of learning.
