I joined LSBU in 2012 as an alumnus, having studied Architecture at Part 1 and Part 2 at London South Bank University. Currently, holding the position of senior lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Lead for the BA yr1 Architecture.

I have worked in the UK and internationally and delivered projects across a wide range of building sectors. Most notably, WAA (We Architech Anonymous) in Beijing, China, delivering a number of residential and mixed-use buildings in numerous cities. Experience in housing was developed back in the UK on a smaller scale working with London boroughs on affordable housing developments.

As a member of the RIBA Validation panel, I have attended validation board visits to architecture schools at universities inside and outside of the UK. Validating universities in Chile, Colombia, and the UK alike, with the last being a validation visit at the Royal College of Arts in 2019.

Current research interests have a focus on the pedological approach to pre-university architectural education, and the barriers of economic disparity within social classes that prevent one from reaching their full potential.
