I am Associate Head of Department and a researcher specialising in sustainable edge computing, with a particular focus on energy optimisation. In my role as Associate Head of Department and Lecturer in Digital Analytics, I actively contribute to the academic discourse on green computing and resource management, collaborating with the Smart Internet Technologies research group and the Cognitive Systems Research Centre. Additionally, I mentor students and emerging scholars in the field, supporting their development of innovative solutions in sustainable edge computing.

I completed my BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, followed by an MSc in Software Engineering from the School of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering at City, University of London. For my master's dissertation, titled "Control End-to-end job latency of MapReduce in heterogeneous networks," I focused on managing the latency of MapReduce jobs in diverse networks. Since 2018, I have been working as an Associate Lecturer in computer science at LSBU. During my tenure, I had the opportunity to contribute as a coordinator in the EU-funded project CiProVoT, where I was responsible for the development of a Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) platform.

I’m focused on sustainable edge computing and green technologies. My work bridges the gap between research and real-world applications in data-driven network orchestration and resource management. I’m exploring the commercialization of my energy estimation methods to reduce the carbon footprint in computing.

I am a member of prestigious organisations such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the British Computer Society (BCS), and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
