I am the Course Director for PGdip/MSc Adult Nursing programme at LSBU. I joined LSBU in February 2019, having previously worked at Buckinghamshire New University for 6 years. I graduated as a Comprehensive Registered Nurse from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Western Australia.

I have clinical nursing experience in Australia and also the UK, specialising in General paediatrics and Adult Nursing.

I am a NMC Registered Nurse Teacher and a Fellow with the HEA.

I am currently a link lecturer for UCLH.

My main research interests are preceptorship and COVID.

I completed my Masters degree at Kings College London Education for Healthcare professionals in 2014. My thesis on Preceptors' experience supporting Postgraduate Diploma Newly Qualified Nurses: An Interpretive Phenomenological Study.

I am an External Examiner for School of Nursing and Midwifery, Queens University, Belfast.

In 2020 I was appointed as a research assistant on Rehabilitation and recovery following critical illness related to COVID-19.

I am currently awaiting two publications relating to this research.
